2008 Charity "Blue-Light" Run

Once again we are joined by our good friends from PVEC who will be displaying their preserved police vehicles throughout the day.
They will also be taking part in the charity "Blue-light Run" from Lichfield to the NMA.

Donations are entirely voluntary and are not obligatory for any vehicle owner/driver taking part in the "Blue-light Run"
100% of all funds raised will go directly to Diabetes UK to help provide respite breaks for young children, so your generosity would be greatly appreciated.

Permission has been sought to place  historic/preserved police vehicles outside the Garrick Theatre during the main service.
Please note - parking by non-participants is not permitted at any time.
All other private vehicles will be directed to nearby car parks.
Coach parking is available in Lichfield bus station, Birmingham Road, approx 2 minutes walk from our main venue.

Proposed route and timings.
Historic and current police vehicles should arrive no later than 10.15am to facilitate parking.

All vehicles will depart at approximately 1.45pm  via Frog Lane, exiting right onto St John Street, Friary Road, Bowling Green Roundabout, towards A5 (Walsall), Wall Island, A38 north to National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas.
"Blue-Light" Vehicles will then be placed on static display alongside Millennium Avenue, with the approval of the NMA staff.

If you wish to bring a current or historic police/military vehicle (including motorcycles) to the event please contact us by e-mailing admin@policeunity.com for further details.
