Lichfield Garrick Theatre - Saturday 26th July 2008
PUMA volunteers will be available at the Garrick
Theatre from 09.00am to greet guests and participants arriving.
Historic and current police vehicles should arrive no later than 10.15am to
facilitate parking.
There is ample parking for all other private vehicles/coaches in nearby
Birmingham Road.
Police/ Military / Emergency Services are requested to
attend the event in best uniform dress, including tunics.
Police/Military/Civil Association Blazers may also be worn, as appropriate.
Medals may be worn. Gloves are not required.
Smart casual dress is requested for all other guests.
Children
are welcome.
All guests should be seated for 11.15am to facilitate the start of the main
Service at 11.30am.
The Service will last for approximately 45 minutes.
Persons attending will have the opportunity to
partake of lunch in Lichfield Town Centre or travel directly to the National
Memorial Arboretum, where cafe facilities are also available.
(Ticket only catering will be provided for those persons taking an active
part in the Thanksgiving Service)
The departure of the historic/current police vehicles will then take place at approx
1.45pm, travelling to the National Memorial Arboretum for
the outdoor service of commemoration and parades.
