National Memorial Arboretum Events - Saturday 26th July 2008.
PUMA are hosting a joint service with the Northern Ireland Veteran's
Association at the NMA this year.
Please note that this is an outdoor event and persons attending should
dress appropriate to the weather on the actual day.
Anyone wishing to lay a wreath on behalf of a Police Force / Regt/ Association
or individual is most welcome to do so.
Please make yourself known to the PUMA or NIVA representatives upon your
arrival, so that this can be facilitated.
Current / historic vehicles taking part in the "Blue Light run"
from Lichfield will be arriving at the NMA at approximately 2.15pm.
There will be therefore be ample opportunity to view the static displays
throughout the afternoon events.
Catering is not being provided at the NMA, although persons should have time to
avail of lunch, etc in the Arboretum Cafe before the ceremony.
Proposed Timetable
2.30pm - Parade of Standards, Associations from the Visitors Centre to the Ulster
Ash Grove.
2.45pm - Short Service of Commemoration and Wreath Laying Ceremony to honour all those who served or fell during Operation Banner.
3.15pm - Retiring Parade of Standards, Associations.
