Lichfield Garrick and NMA Parade Info - Saturday 26th July 2008

If you wish to bring a Standard or large group/association to take part in any of the parades please inform us by e-mailing admin@policeunity.com

Police Forces, Military, Emergency Services and other Associations are encouraged to bring their Standards.
The normal Royal British Legion code of practice applies for all Standard Bearers.

Uniformed Police/Military/Emergency Services, and any other Association's members, are invited to take part in the parades. 
The Honour Guard will be provided by the Ceremonial Association of Surrey Police.
The Parades will be led by the Metropolitan Police Emerald Society Pipes and Drums.

Full details of basic movements will be given to assembled participants by the Parade Marshal prior to each parade.
Persons attending should also follow any instructions given by the Garrick/NMA staff or PUMA organisers.

Garrick Parade
11.00am
- Standards to assemble in the upper (1st floor) foyer of the Garrick Theatre.
11.30am - The two ‘host’ Standards - PUMA and NIVA - will be received at the commencement of proceedings.  
                 All other Standards will mount the stairs and be placed in the rear aisles of the main auditorium.
12.15pm - Standard Bearers are invited to the nearby Guildhall building for catering, prior to departing for the NMA.
                 (Tickets, necessary for catering, will be distributed by PUMA officials on arrival at the Garrick)

National Memorial Arboretum Parades
2.15pm -
Parade forms up at the Visitor's Centre (adjacent to the main car park) stepping off at 2.30pm.
2.40pm -
Parade dismissed and Standard Bearers only to take post behind the Ulster Ash Grove Obelisk.
3.15pm - Parade will reform at Millenium Avenue, returning to The Beat (adjacent to Visitor's Centre) for dismissal.
